College Nursing
Learning Workshops
Participants learn about leading trends and cross-cultural leadership developments in nursing through seminars relating to special issues in nursing and health care. Most program activities will take place on the campus of the University of Hawai`i at Manoa.
Leadership Development
The program aims to enhance international nursing knowledge and practices, cross-cultural leadership skills, English communication skills and broaden career paths in nursing fields through practices and activities.
Medical Facility Visits
On-site visitations to local healthcare facilities allow participants to directly observe current innovative approaches to nursing. Students become familiar with the University of Hawai`i School of Nursing, including its undergraduate and graduate curricula and campus laboratory.
Program Schedule
The program is typically 3 to 4 weeks. The below is is a sample first week schedule. The actual schedule may differ slightly.
